Level Up Your Skills: Intermediate Rhino 3D for Jewelry –

Virtual Workshop (Mid-October)

Dear Designer,

Ready to take your Rhino3D skills beyond the basics? Join our Virtual Intermediate Rhino 3D for Jewelry Design workshop, built for makers who already know a little Rhino but want to push into professional, production-ready workflows.

Who This Is For (Prerequisites)
You’re comfortable with Rhino3D fundamentals (accurate curves, surface creation, solids, basic booleans) and can model simple jewelry forms independently. You’re now looking for speed, precision, and advanced techniques used in the trade.

What You’ll Learn (Advanced Focus)

  • Advanced curves & surfacing: clean topology, continuity, and repair strategies

  • Stone-setting workflows: prongs, bezels, pavé layouts, channel/flush variants

  • Parametric thinking: building editable design logic (intro to Grasshopper-lite concepts)

  • Production readiness: scaling, wall/fillet checks, print/cast prep, sprue logic

  • Presentation polish: material libraries, and pro-grade rendering

Format & Schedule
Four live sessions with sample files (such as gemstone, prongs, bails etc): Oct 21th, 22nd ,23rd and 24th 6:30–8:30 PM EST. All sessions are recorded and shared for on-demand review.

Hands-On Structure
Each class combines fast demos with targeted exercises and feedback. Assignments are designed to slot directly into your studio workflow so you leave with production-ready models and repeatable checklists.

Software & Setup
We’ll use Rhino 3D for Mac (PC users welcome—the interfaces are very similar and platform differences will be noted). A free trial is available from Rhino’s website. Recommended gear: a multi-button mouse, headphones with a mic, and a digital caliper.
